Christianne King
Oil Landscapes, Still Lifes and Portraits
Christianne King took up painting at the Hampstead School of Art while living in London in 2007, and has continued studies at the Yellow Barn in Glen Echo with Walt Bartman and Gavin Glakas.
She has exhibited at the Yellow Barn Gallery, the Vintage Vault and Gallery in Ellicott City, in the Rockville Art League juried Member Shows, at the Hill Center Gallery in Washington, DC. and at The Mansion at the Strathmore Center for the Arts as a member of the Montgomery County Plein Air Painters. She is a Copyist at the National Gallery of Art.
She lives in Bethesda, Maryland and enjoys plein air painting in the area, as well as in New England.
She is available to paint commissioned copies from many paintings in the National Gallery of Art collection, and to paint portraits on commission.
She will be participating in a group show at Gallery B, in downtown Bethesda, in Feb. 2019.
Her paintings are in private collections in the US and in Europe.
